Individuals who are neither Canadian Permanent Residents nor Citizens may apply for a work permit to work in Canada for the purpose of allowing foreign nationals to fill a labour shortage and to support economic growth in Canada. A valid work permit is essential to be able to work in Canada.

POST-GRADUATION WORK PERMIT
The post-graduation work permit allows students who have graduated from a participating Canadian post-secondary institution to gain valuable Canadian work experience. The length of your permit will depend on the length of the study program you completed in Canada. 8 months to 3 years length of work permit.

WORKING HOLIDAY
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE CANADA (IEC)
Working Holiday is an open work permit. This lets you work and travel in Canada. International Experience Canada (IEC) gives youth the opportunity to travel and work in Canada for up to 2 years.
